Assistant to Business Manager

Assistant to the Business Manager TimePlan has been requested to recruit an Assistant to the School Business Manager of one of our very good client schools in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. This role will require the successful candidate to fully support the Business Manager. Accordingly, the successful candidate must have a proven history of working strategically in both short-term and long-term budget planning and financial management. As this is a new role for the school, the start date for this role will be relevant to the availability of the successful candidate and will run for at least one year in the first instance. Experience of working within a school / education setting would be an advantage but not entirely necessary. This is an extremely successful school with science college status. It has had national recognition as one of the most improved in the country. The leadership of the school is exceptional and exam results are first class. There are about 1700 pupils with over 200 in the sixth form. Ofsted classes the school as 'outstanding'.
