A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time, long term Drama teacher in Portsmouth. The school is looking for a full time Drama teacher who can become an integral part of their successful school. This full time Drama teaching position in Portsmouth, will commence in July 2012 and will require the post holder to work full time for two terms to cover maternity. The successful candidate will be a Drama teacher with the ability to teach Drama to A level. School and Location This is a secondary school situated in the heart of Portsmouth; it is therefore easily accessible by public transport. The Secretary of State for Education signed an Academy Order for them to approve their conversion to Academy status under the sponsorship of the Academies Enterprise Trust. Requirements All candidates must fulfil the following criteria: * Be UK qualified or hold a recognised teaching qualification; * Be able to teach Drama to KS3 & 4; * Have proven expertise of working within the secondary phase; * Have current GTC registration; * Be available for face to face interview.
