MATHEMATICS - LEAD TEACHER for KS4
UP TO £52,000 (AST or LEADERSHIP SPINE)
Required for September 2012 or earlier, an experienced and successful teacher of mathematics with a demonstrable knowledge of a variety of examination specifications.
The successful candidate will join a department of seven specialists supported by administrative assistant. Working on a reduced timetable, the appointee will be sufficiently experienced and knowledgeable to coach others in preparing students for public examinations. In addition you will be expected to advise the curriculum leader on examination policy and lead on arrangements to accelerate learning among those students making insufficient progress.
The Westgate School serves a relatively prosperous community on the western fringes of Slough, providing for 960 boys and girls aged 11 to 19.
