Primary/Middle Classroom Support

Urgently required: Experienced TA for a Primary School in central Cambridge school. 5 days a week. We have an immediate need for a Primary School Teaching Assistant at a school in the heart of the City. Working during the morning with one child with SEN, you will work on a 1-2-1 basis with a child to improve their basic learning skills, numeracy, literacy and writing ability. As well as general classroom assistant work in the afternoon. The school is vibrant and welcoming and has an excellent OFSTED report. Known for their hard work in inclusion, the school goes beyond the call to ensure that every child counts and every child receives the best education possible. This was reflected in their OFSTED which commented on their work in not leaving any child behind.. Initially, we will set up an informal interview for you with the school giving you the opportunity to meet with staff and get a feel for the role. Ideally the post will begin immediately. The role is anticipated to last until the end of the academic year. Due to the nature of the role, you will have previous experience and hold a current CRB which we will take portability on.
