The Westgate School seek to appoint a full-time teacher of science for September 2012. The post is open to both newly qualified and experienced teachers. Candidates should be UK qualified and able to teach to their principal discipline through to Advanced Level.

The appointee will join a successful team of eight specialists supported by
four technicians. The school serves a relatively prosperous community on the western fringes of Slough, providing for 960 boys and girls aged 11 to 19. The Westgate was designated Outstanding by Ofsted as recently as May 2011. Working conditions and resource provision are excellent while the climate for learning is highly positive (Ofsted).
