About WorkinSchools
WorkinSchools is a professional and social network for people who work in schools, colleges and universities. Any person or organisation in the education sector can join the network and have a profile page.
Membership
The network has 4 main user groups School Staff, Schools and Recruitment Agencies as well as Other Bodies (suppliers, unions and charities for example). Membership for education staff (anyone working within an education organisation) and state-funded schools is free. Private schools, recruitment agencies and other bodies are charged a small annual membership fee to be on the network.
Social
The social side of the network allows members to use all the tools they can find in other social networks such as instant messenger and status updates. We recognise that school staff are discouraged to or do not wish to join the same social networks as pupils. WorkinSchools is a pupil free zone where people who work in schools can interact freely with other like minded members, you can socialise, talk shop, share resources, and make new friends.
Schools and recruitment agencies can also promote themselves as organisations and communicate with staff either individually or as a whole.
Professional
The network can also be used as professional site to network, recruit and search for career opportunities. As part of their membership schools and education recruitment companies can advertise jobs on the network. WorkinSchools incorporates a sophisticated engine that can target/match jobs and jobseekers on the network offering efficient results for both recruiters and those seeking a new career. The network has excellent tools for both permanent and temporary recruitment solutions offering value for money to the organisations that use it.
Ethics
The WorkinSchools website has been set up to provide a safe and secure environment for teachers and all staff in schools to socialise away from pupils. It also provides an excellent recruitment service for those that wish to use it. We ask all our members whether they are school staff, schools or recruitment agencies to respect each other when using the site, and most of all we hope that WorkinSchools is an enjoyable and useful website experience for all our members.
If you wish to contact WorkinSchools please send us a friend request with a message, you are then free to network with us or contact us using the details on this page.
